She brings out the best in you, encourages you to challenge yourself and ensures that you enjoy the process of learning dance. I was one of the lucky students to have started my foundation in Kathak under her tutelage and she has inspired me in many ways. Her classes are always fun and there is always something new to learn from her. Apart from learning the techniques of dance, I have also learnt to look at the positive side of things and appreciate what I am able to do now, instead of worrying about the past or future. Ms. Nivedita is an incredibly graceful and professionally trained dancer and teacher. She is very patient and understands the strengths and weaknesses of her students. Her constant encouragement, intense training and positive mindset will ensure that you grow into a better dancer and person.

Dance has always been my safe space and I owe it to my Gurus for allowing if to remain as such. As an adult leaner, Nivedhita ma'am gave us the time and space to flourish as grow at Kathak dancers and grow at our own pace. She creates a sacred environment for her students to appreciate Kathak as a classical art form and pushes us to form our own meaning & expression of dance. I'm truly grateful to have had the opportunity to learn under ma'am for the past 4 years !

My name is Reema Kumari. I was a student of Guru Nivedita Mam in Sifas. I always remember that day when I got my first ever experience with classical dance. In the first day of my class, I asked Ma'am whether I am able to learn and dance this classical form like Kathak.
I still have the beautiful face in my mind with the cheers in her voice she said "Yes, definitely you can". That's how I started my classical journey with her. I learnt Kathak for 5 years with her. She is polite, calm, joyous in nature and full of positivity. She makes every step so easy to follow. She is an artist with great patience. She is very graceful and her expression is mind-blowing. We all celebrate so many moments together with her that made her proud. Time flies and she has chosen the path to explore more and new opportunities in her life with her amazing abilities. I wish her all the very best for the future endeavor. I miss you Ma'am.

Nivedhita Ma'am "The best teacher have met till day" With great compassion for the work she does, With great patience in teaching which kids love to be. As an adult student the experience I had was very great which can't be expressed in words. With passion in learning a new dance form even though experienced with classical dance, the comfort teacher gave me was enormous. Being doing a 'chakkar' or a difficult step, the way she comforts no while teaching gave me a motivation all these years to go forward while taking exams. During exams, the extra effort she puts to make us relieve from the pressure is splendid. We all are missing her classes now a days a lot. Miss you Ma'am
