This Slide Guitar is the basic modification from 6 strings Hawaiian Guitar where 2 chikari Strings are added for playing fast tempo jhala, 3 Dronning strings are added at the back of the main strings, 4 main strings for playing the melody and 13 Sympathetic strings are added for getting the resonating effects of each and every notes that we play . This Slide Guitar is a one piece wood instrument,hand crafted specially designed to play all the nuances of Indian Classical Music.

Shri Rhitom Sarkar is an A grade artist of AIR, National and State Scholarship Holder, Sur-O-Mani awardee,Sangeet Yuba Ratna awardee from Art and cultural trust of India, ICCR,EZCC and Spicmacay empanelled artist,Sangeet Kala Ratna Awardee. Rhitom has his early training from Pt. Debashish Bhattacharya and later with Pt. Shyamal Chatterjee,sitarist of senia gharana for advance studies He has toured In and around India and abroad in countries like USA, Canada, Germany, Denmark,Australia, Singapore and many more for programme/Concerts,Workshop and doing Academy.
